Review of Tower Heist (2011) by Jack S — 23 Mar 2014

Eddie Murphy had a nice return in this movie. Recently, he hasn't been the actor he used to be. Age, movie appearances, and all that. But, he was hilariously funny and was it pure action form, like he was born for this movie. Ben Stiller is always the one with the plan, Casey Affleck is the one who always cares, Matthew Broderick is a depressed dad, and Michael Pena is the silly henchman. It's has a good premise and a rather UNconvoulted plot, which makes this heist, a very special one. Tower Heist doesn't have the brains from Brett Ranter as we wanted, but it's also funny and slick. It's certainly a win-win.
