Review of Tower Heist (2011) by Gian A — 19 Aug 2012
Despite the slow start and long build up to the actual heist, the film plays its strengths with the interesting personalities of each of its characters. Ben Stiller performs without resorting to frantic yelling and crazed lunacy as he leaves the comic acts to Eddie Murphy.
Matthew Broderick plays subtly offering a few laughs as well from his ironically broke wall-street character. Alan Alda, however, amid the arsenal of such a great cast, acted more remarkably than expected as the always well-kept antagonist.
In due course, Tower Heist was able to appeal to the audience with a few twists and a number of funny moments.
