Review of Tower Block (2012) by Nick C — 20 Feb 2013

This was a good premise for a movie and made a difference from the usual trapped in a building with a monster storyline. The deaths are sudden and in some cases quite shocking, the first of which I certainly didn't see coming (just like the character I guess!) As the film progresses it does lose some of the tension and credibility, partly due to a bit of dodgy acting and partly due to Russell Tovey's attempted escape from the building which looked a little like special effects featured in the 1960's Batman tv series.

However, it was still a fairly decent thriller for a low budget British film.
