The Best Movie of 2008 thus far.........An incredibly powerful story about a young girl living with her Lebanese father in Houston in the mid 1990's. The film hits on racism and pedophilia in ways that are certainly "in your face" but yet add up to one of the most harrowing yet brave films I've ever seen.
The performances are extraordinary, particularly Peter MacDissi and Aaron Eckhart. Toni Collette is fantastic and the young girl, Summer Rishil is unforgettable. Seek this film out and do NOT miss it!!!!!
