Review of Towelhead (2008) by Kitty Kitty B — 04 Oct 2008
Alan Ball deserves credit for tackling a difficult (and, in most cultures, terrifying) subject - a young girl's realistic emerging sexuality. Much of the film is over the top, however, including its handling of the main subject matter.
I'm pleased to see Peter Macdissi moving into film.
