Review of Towelhead (2008) by Chris S — 10 Apr 2009

Having read the book beforehand, the movie pales in comparison. The performances were, for the most part, quite stilted, and some of the key relationships in the movie weren't allowed adequate time for development.

I felt that the back end of the movie was quite rushed. The story itself deals with a lot of heavy issues, but unfortunately, perhaps too much for the movie to handle.
