Review of Towelhead (2008) by Eric R — 05 Dec 2009
A good coming of age film about a young woman of lebanon decent whom moves in with her overprotective father. This is a very brave film that features a lot of strong performances. Like Ball's American Beauty, this is a very beautiful film about american suburbia.
It does come off as a little heavy handed at times but overall I think Ball achieved what he was trying too; and it was definetly worth watching.
