Review of Touching the Void (2003) by Colin H — 17 Aug 2007
Part documentary and part dramatic reenactment of a survival story. Maybe the most powerful movie I've ever seen next to Kurosawa's Ran. You get to see reenactment's of Simpson and Yates horrific accident on the mountain and struggle to get down, but it's made even better by narration and inter-cutting of interviews with Simpson and Yates themselves telling their story.
One movie that everyone should see.
