Review of Touching the Void (2003) by Bobby D — 06 Oct 2007

I was amazed how this factual documentary whose happy ending I already knew kept me on the edge of me seat for 106 minutes. Every 10 minutes one of the narrators would say "and that was the point I knew I would die" and even though he had just said it 10 minutes earlier, I believed him, because that's how much worse his situation had gotten.

This is one of the best stories told on the silver screen, and not just because it's true.
