Being a passionate mountaineer,it literally hurt to watch this. I'm speechless. This should be on the to-see list of every climber on the planet. And it shows the greatness of Joe Simpson's character, who found forgiveness in his heart for something that would make others dream of revenge.
I don't know if I'd have the strength to cut that rope and live with it for the rest of my life, no matter if the other guy eventually survived or not. Again, I'm speechless.
