Review of Touch the Wall (2014) by Onzie S — 30 Jun 2015
We r a swim family; so, we get it. We enjoyed the inspirational and humble part of the movie. It lacked helping the non-swimmer understand the swimming world--lingo, practice sets (ex: how many miles of each stroke do they swim or how many hours, etc.
), time commitment, number of swimmers v. other sports, additional ground work so non-swimmers can attempt to identify with the struggles and such. Additionally, explaining a little better the reason for attending the out of state meets (qualify for funding, why certain meets in certain states, etc).
I believe these things would help non-swimmers "get" the movie better.
