Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by William F — 17 Jan 2008
Film Noir. It was a pretty racy film in its time, with the interracial marriage, and the drug references (reefer butts and heroin). Welles' as a director was a showoff, so the camera work is egotistical, and over elaborate, but beautiful nevertheless.
Verdict: a beautifully shot film!
