Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Chris H — 02 Nov 2008
Not the noir masterpiece it's purported to be, but still a great pulp yarn. Welles performance holds the plot together and adds much needed gravitas to what would have been an otherwise shallow film, whilst his directorial style is nothing short of exhilarating.
