Special effects are terrific and there's some cool sci-fi tech, but the plot hangs together by thin threads. They may have technically resolved all the twists and turns, but it was so busy with chase scenes and fistfights that dialogue and plot gets lost in the shuffle.
Colin Farrel is a disappointing action hero - wooden, dumb, and completely humorless. It's hard to believe he's a "brilliant" spy.
