Review of Total Recall (2012) by Jimmy J — 25 Jul 2013
An alright action thriller with a lot of visuals in it that seem more reminiscent of other sci-fi staples at the moment - lots of camera flares and all buildings are super tall. I have never seen the original, but this did quite well to mess with the main character's head and blow things up.
But by the end there was something missing from this film, a warmth and a character that makes it serviceable but nothing more.
