Review of Total Recall (2012) by Martyn W — 17 Sep 2013

Being an eighties baby I was fortunate enough to be able to watch and enjoy the original film, I was very sceptical of the re-make as I'm sure any arnie fan would be. I struggled to visualise total recall without the bulging muscle and classic one liners arnie brought to the film, hence me staying away for the remake for so long.

.....What a mistake was I making! A fantastic remake of a golden oldie. Revamped perfectly and the changes where fantastic. The references in the new film to the old film made me chuckle but showed that the producers and directors stayed true to the roots of the film and even put something in there for the older generation to appreciate.

Overall a good film and one of the best remakes to date.
