Total recall is good for one thing only, action. The sheer amount of varied action sequences and their level of quality carries this movie and make it watchable. The plot is a good one and credit to not making a straight forward remake.
However the changes made to the plot does not make its remake better. Instead it makes itself confusing and unnecessarily complicated. Colin Farrell is good in Arnies role as are the women of the show.
As the movie goes on it becomes a little tiring with what feels like an anti-climax which is disappointing but like said, you can't take anything away from the action on offer. There are some fantastic scenes in a wonderfully crafted futuristic world.
