Review of Total Eclipse (1995) by Haden Y — 20 Nov 2007
A truly beautiful and mesmerising film. I think it portrays human nature in a realistic and unflattering light, just as much as beautiful and piquant, in a way rarely seen in cinema, period. I think this is a very underrated and fine film, superior period picture, a good depiction of absinthe use and explores relationships with expert insight.
It's a shame Leo's ashamed of it.
