Review of Torn Curtain (1966) by Anis T — 14 Jan 2009
Paul Newman was a very very beautiful man....so, at least that was pleasing to look at. I found the film quite interesting as things began to unfold - but that was in the first hour. After that, the movie began to drag, with a death scene that reminded me of the death scene in Dancer in the Dark, and a really long boring scene dealing with a chalkboard and a formula.
For the time period it was okay, but nothing I would want to sit through again.
