Review of Top Secret! (1984) by Luke C — 05 Jan 2008

This was made by the same guys who did Airplane!, my 2nd favorite comedy, so perhaps my expectations were too high. But this wasn't very funny at all. It had a lot of clever stuff, but I will never feel the urge to watch this again.

A lot of it isn't even funny the first time around. There are, of course, some genuinely hilarious parts, but I don't think I could recommend this one. It was entertaining enough, but I just couldn't love it.

It's hilarious to see Val Kilmer not retarded, though.
