There are few hints of Airplane! level jokes lingering in this film, but for the most part this one is stupid and boring. Spoof is just such an easy, sloppy genre. I was making better spoofs than this with a VHS camcorder when I was 13.
I think the only way to pull anything of value out of the genre is to do have excellent delivery and a few clever ideas (such as Young Frankenstein or Airplane!) Top Secret! very little of the two.
