Count me shocked. A movie about concrete and boats and gray metal, infused with such a well-crafted drama that it leaves me bawling for 15 minutes. The movie truly was perfectly calculated to achieve an optimal climax.
It hit all the notes. Extremely rarely does a movie get me deeply invested in the struggle; somehow, through character interactions, I totally invested. And the struggle -- my god. From so pathetically desperate, to pure win -- fantastic.
