Review of Top Gun: Maverick (2022) by Skykappah — 12 Jun 2022
This is a classic old school blockbuster in every respect. You know it's a good movie when it clocks in at over 2 hours and it seems shorter, hardly a boring moment. I prefer it over the original in that the story flows much better because the first one was bogged down with the 80's need for cringey love themes.
One of the few films where the sequel is better than the first.
It's the perfect end and hopefully they leave it at that.
