Propaganda, but a classic American "action" film.
Although, it's hard to classify as action because nobody fires any shots, and somehow think missile locks are suspenseful... I guess this is what was acceptable for a good action film at the time, but I really don't know.
I will give it praise by not identifying the antagonist faction/OPFOR etc.
