Review of Top Gun (1986) by Mrpajamas — 01 Mar 2022

I just had to see Top Gun because I'm a fan of the 80s. That's why I liked the movie a lot, because I got what I wanted and that's the 80s atmosphere, which is mainly emphasized by the setting and the music.

Take My Breath Away is just delicious. But from the point of view of someone who somehow doesn't like this era, I guess for them it's only a good, maybe even above average film. Story-wise it wasn't anything too special for me, although it wasn't bad.

For me, it was mostly the atmosphere that pulled it together, and for me it was a good movie that I would recommend to fans of 80s action movies.
