Review of Top Gun (1955) by Daniel R — 14 Dec 2012
Am I the only one concerned that World War III appears to have started at the end of this movie? They brush it off that both sides don't acknowledge the incident but...
Anywho, 'Top Gun' or as I like to call it, 'How Many Times Can We Possibly Play Danger Zone?', remains to this day a ridiculously entertaining action flick handsomely made by Tony Scott.
Age has been a little rough on the movie, especially when it comes to the music (you can't tell me you don't giggle a little bit when Take My Breath Away comes on), but it remains fun with Tom Cruise at his charming best.
I could have used a few more scenes of drunk Meg Ryan though.
