Am I biased toward this because this movie rocked my socks off as a kid? Maybe a little. But, this film is actually not too bad. Yes it's cheesy at times and it's corny, but the action sequences are tense, Tom Cruise is super likeable and overall it's a fun cinematic experience.
After seeing this on the big screen finally I totally get what the hype was in the 80's. The sounds of jets ripping by and missiles exploding is really something to experience! Definitely, recommend stepping into the Danger Zone!
