Review of Top Gun (1955) by Charlie G — 14 Feb 2013
Back before CGI movies were much better. Nothing beats the real thing. Cheesy acting moments for sure but they didn't mess it up by making it "Better" I like Movies converted to 3D more than the current made for 3D.
Nothing trying to poke you in the face or wiggling around, just more depth to the scenes. I spent more time looking at things on the edges and background of the screen than the center. But life size F-14's on a IMAX screen and great sound system were worth the ticket price.
I'm glad I went. Never will see a real F-14 fly again but this was close.
