It's an ok vehicle for Tom Cruise.
The real reason to watch is for the jet plane scenes which are extremely well-choreographed.
Those two songs Danger Zone and Take My Breath Away sure like to pop up a lot.
Even the life of a fighter pilot is more than you'd expect.
