I think the critical acclaim is really because of how likeable Rock is and little to do with a fairly cliched flick that is basically a better made Tyler Perry film. I was expecting a lot more. Hyper derivative.
I'm pretty much over the "I'm playing myself but I'm not really playing myself thing".
