Review of Top Five (2014) by Justin Z — 30 Dec 2014
It dwells too much on some really bizarre sexual scenes, it doesn't always hit with the comedy and it has some sound/editing issues at moments, but this is one of the most genuine films of the year and a strong showcase for Chris Rock as a writer and director.
He may be upstaged in his acting by everyone else in his cast (especially a super charming Rosario Dawson) but he always remains likable and makes a hard to relate to character interesting.a solid film overall.
