Review of Tootsie (1982) by Leon C — 06 Oct 2008
A funny and poignant story that I enjoyed watching. (SPOILERS) However, I thought the movie was rather unsatisfactory. I could not see how being a woman has made Michael a better man. The film shows Michael falling in love with his colleague, Julie, not him changing to be what he needs to be, that is, a man who doesnâ??t always think about himself.
He will probably be as forgetful about dinner dates with Julie, as he was with Sandy.
