Review of Tootsie (1982) by Michael T — 31 Jan 2009
This film was the surprise sleeper hit of 1982 and Jessica Lange won a Best Supporting Actress Orcar for her role in this somewhat silly comedy about a very straight unemployed New York actor (dustin Hoffman) who becomes the hottest actress on a top-rated soap opera.
Its a great cast and a funny movie but was it as good as people thought back in the day? I'll have to check it out again and see.
