Dustin Hoffman was quite a genius actor back in the day and 2 movies which show it perfectly is Tootsie and Kramer Vs Kramer!
Tootsie manages to pull of a romantic movie with the use of comedy throughout. However its very VERY different from the romantic comedies one would see nowadays!
