Review of Tootsie (1982) by Kim B — 18 Dec 2014
Is there a role Hoffman can't do? I couldn't help but like Dorothy too. It was chocked full of 80s cheese with that dopey musical score, outdated costumes/hair/decorating, but underneath that greasy film of sacchrine, there's a nice love story and a good message about how men can be insensitive to woman without even realizing it.
It had some funny parts and it did good job of portraying how woman are often poorly shown in film and some men treat women like crap. I felt bad for poor Sandy lol and I loved Bill Murrays role.
