Review of Tootsie (1982) by Petros T — 13 Oct 2013
Long before "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Big Momma's House", "Tootsie" talked about the mutual understantment of the two sexes. According to the Tootsie syndrome, in order to sympathize others, you must live like them for a while.
"Tootsie" is an extremely funny movie featuring a great Dustin Hoffman and, although now it seems a bit naive and conventional, back then it was daring and innovative - and the only reason it doesn't seem that great today is that it has inspired many and has been imitated by many.
