Review of Tony Takitani (2004) by Fuzz L — 20 Jan 2008
A really curious way to turn a book (or rather short story) into a movie. Essentially a narrator more or less reads the story, and the actors provide visuals but very few words. Didn't really work for me.
I'm amazed there aren't more films based on Murakami stories though...Norwegian Wood or Kafka on the Shore maybe?
