Review of Tony Manero (2008) by Riley E — 26 Mar 2009
An excellent but very disturbing movie. To me, the point seemed to be given an insight into Pinochet and his regime through observation of the actions of the vile lead character, Raul. Pinochet was ever present, in discussions, through the appearance of his military and police.
Excellent use of sound, well shot, very well cast. Not for the faint of heart, however, and while I appreciate the experience I have no desire ever to see this movie again!
