Review of Toni Erdmann (2016) by William M — 29 Dec 2017
This was one of the worst movies I have endured. It is long, and leaves the viewer wondering why they have wasted 2 hours and 40 minutes of their life. This movie has a few minority humourous moments, but not nearly enough to compensate for the drudgery of all the rest.
I kept hoping the last 10 to 15 minutes would make up for the preceding time, but lo, I remained disappointed to the end. This movie was just plain boring. I cannot imagine how anyone could have read the script, and thought that it would be a fine product for the big screen? And bless the multitude of critics who praised this horrible flick; I guess that is what makes the world go around!
