Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Lou A — 04 Nov 2015
Although it is not terrible, it is the first true disappointment of 2015. Its premise has as much potential as its director, but the execution falls flat. It also has many nobel ambitions, such as examining the pessimism and laziness of our society today, and how it makes us accept an inevitably devastating future.
But it ends up feeling annoyingly preachy and takes away from the joy and thrills. But the cast is good, and it does have an interesting futuristic city. A huge step back from Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and it may bore certain viewers, but not exactly a complete waste of time.
