Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Jason M — 15 Dec 2015

Well, I finally rented this movie to see why it did so poorly at the box office (beside it's awful marketing). Wow. What an absolute mess! You have to sit through more than half the movie before you ever have any idea what it's about.

But then, an "idea" is all you'll ever get because the plot is so sketchy you never really get it. Both me and my kids are watching and asking questions constantly because it made so little sense.

What are these killer robots? Why are they trying to kill them anyways? And why are they NOT trying to kill them later? Where are all the people in this place? Are there more people? Add that to the doom and gloom of "mankind-being-so-hopeless-that-they-can't-help-but-destroy-themselves" message--- yeah this was an amazingly forgettable waste of $190 million by Disney.
