Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Simon T — 23 Oct 2016
Brad Bird couldn't direct a dull movie if his life depended on it. The only fault with his characteristically imaginative fantasy is an overcomplicated storyline and uncertainty as to who his target audience is.
For a children's film it's too intense, for an adult audience rather too whimsical. Having said which, it's never less than engrossing and certainly far better than some of the sniffy reviews would lead you to believe.
