Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Vjjr — 23 May 2015
This movie is not an easy watch...it makes you work for its meaning. The story line is timely as it is overt. The world needs dreamers and optimists to survive. It is really an adult allegory that alludes to the problems of today--war, depleting resources, pestilence and suggests that we humans have a choice.
We can either lament our helplessness to change the future, or exert our responsibility to create a better future. If you are an optimist you may actually resonate with this message. If not, it may be a long and bleak afternoon at the movies.
