Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Thegodfatherson — 21 May 2015
Tommorowland. What a beautiful looking film, arresting in every way possible. But, it is all show, and lacks substance. First of all, Tommorowland is cliched to the max, plot twists are predictable, and the story is peppy and bubbly futuristic vibe.
George Clooney gives a masterful performance, and Britt Robinson gives a good perfromance too. The worst part of Tommorowland is that it doesnt live up to the hype that it had. Brad Bird instead gave us a beautiful movie, but had no good film underneath that layer.
Tommorowland is inspired by Disney's famous theme park, and there is a slight vibe added to it. There is Hugh Laurie as a maniac though. Sadly, it is a let down, but if you admire creativity, give this a watch.
