Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Vue — 13 Jun 2015
Tomorrowland was not our first movie choice because of its reviews. But when our first choice was sold out, we went to see Tomorrowland and were not disappointed. It is Interesting and entertaining and is very different from how it is presented by many of its critics.
Critics and users have found numerous faults to justify their ratings. I was expecting a Disney commercial, a sermon, a poorly thought out ending, and there to be other problems with the movie. I didn't experience any of those things.
What I did find was a movie that was inventive, surprising and engaging. The movie was fresh in its presentation and the actors were well cast and believable. The message of choosing to feed hope or despair is thought provoking.
The dichotomy of critic and user reviews seems to mirror that message.
