Review of Tomorrowland (2015) by Boogeefilmguy — 12 Jul 2015
Brad Bird is the director of this movie. You may not know the name, but you definitely know the movies. He is the director of films such as The Incredibles, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Ratatouille and The Iron Giant. Needless to say, I was extremely hyped for Tomorrowland. And I wasn't disappointed with what I got, but I wasn't the happiest chap either. The acting in this movie is pretty good. George Clooney was on point, as were most of the actors. Its a Disney movie, so its not too mild in its violence, however I was pretty surprised with the violence in this film. It was, pretty freaking violent. Anyway, by the third act, the movie sort of starts to slip a bit. But, it regains strength by the end of the film with a solid ending that definitely satisfies you. Its worth the price of admission, but it isn't Brad Bird's greatest. Then again, that's a pretty tough spot to beat considering he made The Incredibles and The Iron Giant. My final thoughts on this movie are:
If you want to see an entertaining but not too confusing Sci-Fi adventure film, Tomorrowland is your movie.
