What this movie felt like is that you're in a car that someone else is driving, you have no idea where you're going, and are expected to look outside the window at all the amazing and awe-inspiring things.
Then, at the end of the ride, you see a big billboard that's the shove-it-down-your-throat message of the movie. The end.
