I really feel like there was great potential here, but it was almost like it couldn't decide whether to be targeting children (in the Spy Kids vain) or a more mature demographic. Some of the violence (like when the little girl gets intensely run over by a pickup) is not at all appropriate for kids, but the tone throughout is quite silly.
