Tomorrowland is one of the most beautifully stunning films ever visually. It's a must see for any child. So why not give it the top rating? Well, we live in a time when great children's movies are quite entertaining for adults as well.
Most animated films today are very good movies, and adults get a great laugh out of them, get emotionally attached to them, etc. I'll watch Kung Fu Panda anytime, kids or no kids present. But Tomorrowland, for adults, was pretty boring.
As beautiful as the special effects were, I couldn't watch it in one sitting. It was a bit too childish. Definitely show it to your kids, but you adults will probably be a little bored with it.
