If I'm honest, I'm not entirely sure what to make of this movie, or even what market it is aiming for.
Seemingly steeped in nostalgia (complete with a Worlds-Fair based prologue), this bounces all over the place, from the past to the future via a grimy run-down present day that I could almost swear was set in an alternate reality!
While Clooney is the nominal adult in the cast (for most of the running time), it's really up to the young Raffey Cassidy (who, I have to say, I had never heard of before) to provide most of the maturity in the story, as well as most of the best bits!
